What have we been up to?!

Well, we thought we'd give you an update on what we have been doing lately. Projects! Projects! and more Projects! It seems there is a never ending list, but we love to keep busy.

Of course, we always have the house projects. We just recently started on the Master bedroom/bathroom suite (Project #1). Thanks to all those who came to help knock down walls. Matt just bought all the plumbing for under the house and put the wall up for the toilet area. It will end up being a half bath with a sink in there as well. The tub, shower, and vanity sink will stay out in the open connected to the master bedroom.

Matt's been trying his hand a a little fashion design as well (Project #2). I think he took a little inspiration from his buddy Logan.

We love being Uncle Matt and Aunt Steph. The twins were in need of new bikes (Project #3). Nick and Krissy were in a bind to get the bikes they needed, especially when you have to get 2 of everything. Expensive! Matt snagged a couple of pretty princess bikes at the dump and they are going quit well. I wish I had a before picture of how pink they were! They are birthday presents so don't spoil the surprise!

Matt and Michael took a drive on their bikes. Matt just finished building his (Project #4) and wanted to try it out. They drove over to Messa Falls. Beautiful!

the Jewelry shop is basically finished. We need to plumb in the sink, but it looks really good. We can't wait for all the paperwork to come in so we can be official. We will need to have an open house then. Anybody have any good ideas on a shop name? We picked one, but Matt's not really loving it. We will have to show all the before and after photos in another post. There are tons!

Well, for those of you who don't know.  We had a family counsel and made a desicion.  Mom decided to move to Arco!  We are excited to have her.  She can visit the grandkids as often as she likes and we have some great company.

Mom is currently working at the Drug Store right now, and has an opportunity to be a court reporter.  She has her own space in the basement and loves helping out around the house.  We are happy and very blessed to have her with us.  We think it will be just what the doctor ordered :)

We already have mom hard at work!  She shoveled all the snow in front of the house so we could get her things moved in.  We will have to teach her a little more about gardening though.  She cleaned out my flower bed as well!
